Bible Study Groups
Difficult Questions. Biblical Answers.
We believe that growing deeper in faith happens best in community — where questions are welcome, lives are shared, and Scripture comes alive. Bible Study Groups are where you can explore God’s Word, gain practical insights for everyday life, and be challenged and supported by others on the same journey. Through honest discussion and mutual accountability, we discover not just what the Bible says, but how to live it out in a world that needs hope, justice, and love.
I Have A Question.
I’m busy. How much time do I need?
Every Bible Study Group varies and is often determined by the participants in the group. A minimum of 1.5 hours per month, to 1.5 hours, once a week. Bible studies could be 1-2 sessions or up to 6-8 weeks.
Is childcare available?
Childcare is dependent on each Bible Study group’s needs. If available, it will be posted.
What actually happens in a Bible Study Group?
Every Bible Study Group is unique; however, all Bible Study Groups have open, leader-facilitated discussions. A Bible will be used in each session. In addition, the session could be over a specific book of the Bible, and a book and study guide are used. Other sessions may involve facilitator-provided study guides. Everyone is encouraged to prepare and contribute their time and talents during the session, as that’s how we explore different points of view and deepen our faith.
Who will I meet in my Bible Study Group?
Each Bible Study Group will vary. A Bible Study Group could be a small group of 2-3 people or a larger class of 50. We grow when we challenge ourselves to learn with others of various ages, backgrounds, biblical knowledge, and life experiences. You’ll find seasoned members, as well as newcomers exploring the Bible for the first time. What is most important is that we all support each other in our spiritual growth journey.
What if I want to do more than one Bible Study?
Terrific! You are more than welcome to participate in as many Bible Study Groups as you feel comfortable; however, to give yourself the time to immerse in the study, you may want to attend one full Bible Study first.
What is the location of the Bible Study Group?
Each Bible Study Group has its own location. It could be a home, at church, or at a coffee shop.
