The only thing you need to bring is an open heart ready to meet with God as we join together to worship and learn. While bringing a Bible is encouraged, Bible passages related to the message will be on the projection screens. And the only thing you need to know is that God loves you and loves spending time with you. We’ll all learn more as we journey together in our faith.

Not everyone begins their spiritual journey at the same place or in the same way. For many, worship is only the first step on the journey of faith. You may have become interested by serving in missions, or maybe you attended a class, a social event, or connection group. Wherever you are in your faith journey, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with our pastors, adult leaders, and other participants who are beginning to explore a deeper faith.

Wayne Street Church has a nursery for infants and toddlers during both worship celebrations and Sunday School. In addition, WOW (Worship Our Way) is available during the AWAKEN celebration. Children in kindergarten through fourth grade join in worship with parents and are dismissed during our announcement time. Sunday School classes are also available for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

Exploring this website is a good start. On Sunday morning, stop by the Welcome Table after our worship celebration and talk with a member of our Connection Team. They can tell you more about the church, upcoming events, and Starting Point. The Welcome Table is located in the fellowship hall, just outside the sanctuary doors, and near the Spring Street entrance to the church.

Check out our calendar of events for details. You can also follow our Facebook page to get news and updates.

There are many small group opportunities at Wayne Street Church, which meet around various topics and at various times and places. Some are focused on a topic, and some are centered around fellowship, emotional support, or accountability. All of them are concerned with our growth as disciples.
